Basketmaker and Textile Designer Maker
Basketmaking based on a variety
of Celtic and English regional
designs. The material we work
with is mostly unstripped willow
with its variety of textures and
colours. On a weekend course you
can expect to make at least one
basket, possibly with a handle.
Nobody is allowed to leave
without a basket! The course is
suitable for both beginners and
those with some experience.
Cost: £180 for the weekend. All courses include tuition, materials, tea/coffee and a
hearty lunch. Accommodation not included. There is some accommodation on site
(details from The Frome Society - www.canonfromecourt.org.uk) or I can supply a
local B & B list.
